Forma Studio

Studio software you can talk to.

Free and flexible studio management software for yoga and fitness studios. Open source, AI-first, and running on your own website.

Built by a studio owner, for studio owners.

Forma's Today screen: an assistant box, this week's sales and visits, today's classes, client milestones, first-timers, and who needs a follow-up

Free, flexible, and yours.

Free.

No license fee, no per-member fee, no add-ons. You pay only for the hosting and services you run it on.

Flexible.

The code is open. Need a feature your studio runs on? You, I, or any developer can build it, instead of waiting on a vendor's roadmap.

Yours.

It runs on your website and on accounts in your name. Nobody can raise your price, sell your client list, or switch it off.

What "open source" means: the code behind Forma is public. Anyone can use it, change it, and run it for free. The license keeps every released version open for good, so it stays yours even if the project changes hands.

Everything you need to run the studio.

These are real screens from a sample studio running on Forma. Names are fictional.

Reports

Sales, attendance, teachers, memberships, intro conversion, and at-risk members, ready to open. Export to CSV or PDF, or build your own.

Also built in

  • Intro offers, packs, and memberships
  • Per-class and early-class pricing
  • Appointments and private sessions
  • Retail
  • Saved reports with PDF and CSV export
  • Client segments: lapsed, gone quiet, credits expiring
  • Waiver tracking
  • Teacher view of their own classes

Stop clicking around. Just ask.

Forma is built around a conversation from day one. Tell it what you need; it looks things up and does the busywork. The menus are still there when you want them.

Most studio software

Find the client. Open the class. Check their pass. Add them. Find the report. Pick dates. Export. Make sense of it.

Forma

"Add Maria to tonight's 6:30."

"Who should I call this week?"

"How were sales compared to last October?"

The owner asks 'Who's at risk this week?' and Forma lists members who haven't been in for three weeks

Ask in plain words. Forma checks your data and answers.

Most of us are bad at sales. Forma helps you sell.

"I already use AI to decide who to call. My front desk didn't. So I built it into the screen they open every day."

— Polina

The analysis I used to pay a consultant for is now just a question. Anyone on your team can ask it, with no extra tool to learn.

  • "Give me the 10 people I should call today, and what to offer each."
  • "Before I call Jen: what does she take, and when did she last come?"
  • "Which intro students haven't booked again?"
Sales board with conversion stats and new clients sorted into stages

The sales board: new clients move through stages on their own as they book and buy, with your intro conversion rate on top.

Your clients book with you, not with your software company.

With many platforms

Clients leave your site for the vendor's page or app, where they can be shown other studios nearby.

With Forma

Clients stay on your site, see only your studio, and their account is with you.

A studio's own booking page with its intro offer and weekly schedule

The studio's own booking page, with its intro offer front and center.

Moving over is my job, not yours.

Most owners stay on software they don't love because switching sounds painful. I've done it for my own studio.

01

Bring your data

If your current provider lets you export your data, I bring it over: your full setup and every client record.

02

I move you in

Clients, classes, pricing, and history, set up on accounts in your name. You check it before anything goes live.

03

Switch on your date

Your booking page goes live on your website, and your team starts working in Forma.

$150–200

a month, all in, for a typical studio, including your email and text marketing.

You pay running costs directly

Card processing is separate, as on every platform: Stripe's standard rate.

I own a yoga studio. I'm building the software I wish I had.

"I'm not a natural salesperson."

Intro offers end and members drift before I notice. I used to pay consultants to tell me who to call.

"The bill keeps going up."

Software every month, then add-ons for texting, marketing, and an app.

"My clients book in someone else's app."

Booking sends people away from my website and my brand.

"My data doesn't feel like mine."

Moving my clients and their saved cards depends on the vendor saying yes.

Free and open source, in plain terms

Is it really free?

Yes. No license fee, no per-member fee. You pay only for hosting and the services you connect.

Can anyone cut me off?

No. It runs on accounts in your name. If I disappeared tomorrow, it would keep running.

What if a big company buys it?

The license (AGPL) keeps every released version open for good. Nobody can take back your copy.

Who fixes things?

Any developer can. Or ask the Forma community, where owners and I answer together.

See it running on a real studio.

Thirty minutes over video. I'll walk you through the schedule, checkout, the sales board, and the assistant, and we'll talk about what moving your studio would take. Tell me what would stop you, too.

You'll hear back within one business day to pick a time.
